The OneTigris Noblejade is an air-pad option for someone who wants a relatively wide, thick sleeping surface. The useful decision is whether the exact pad fits your shelter, carrying budget, and sleep system. A headline comparing it with Therm-a-Rest cannot replace those checks.

OneTigris Noblejade: identify the pad before comparing ratings

OneTigris identifies the current reference as CE-CQD06-BK: 197 × 65 × 10 cm, approximately 750 g, with a stated thermal-resistance value of 7.3. The listed maximum user load is 100 kg. We have not independently verified its insulation or established the test standard behind that number from the accessible specification text.

Manufacturer reference Why it matters
65 cm width Tent clearance and two-pad compatibility
10 cm thickness Changes seated headroom and bedding fit
750 g listed weight Check whether accessories are included
7.3 stated thermal resistance Ask for model-specific test documentation

Compare standardized insulation evidence where available rather than converting the stated number into a guaranteed overnight temperature. An insulated pad is one part of the sleep system, not an independent winter-safety promise.

Inflation wording deserves a closer look

The product-page subtitle uses self-inflating language, while its specification and feature description identify an air mattress with valves and a supplied pump sack. Verify the inflation process for the actual unit before buying; do not assume a foam-filled pad that expands automatically.

Check the included repair equipment and practice inflation and deflation at home. Ask whether the packed weight you are comparing includes the sack, straps, and repair items. A mat-only figure is not the complete carried kit.

Our sleeping-pad guide helps separate air, self-inflating, and foam designs without treating their convenience or insulation as equivalent.

Match width and thickness to the shelter

Place the 65 cm width within the tent’s actual usable floor. Two of these pads would nominally require 130 cm before any wall clearance. A tent marketed for two occupants may not provide that width throughout its interior.

A thick pad also raises your head and feet toward sloping tent walls. Check pillow clearance and the room available when sitting on the inflated pad. If using a quilt, consider how the quilt or attachment system works around the pad’s width rather than buying the mat in isolation.

What the customer comments actually establish

An individual owner, Paul Jennings, reports comfortable first impressions on the manufacturer’s review section, but explicitly says he has not used it overnight. That is useful context about the limits of the report, not evidence of sustained cold-weather warmth. We do not turn that comment into a winter-performance consensus.

For future owner reports, look for the exact SKU, overnight conditions, sleeping bag or quilt, and how long the pad was used. Distinguish comfort impressions from temperature evidence and early use from durability experience.

Our buying assessment

Consider Noblejade when its documented dimensions fit your shelter and its complete weight fits the route. Resolve the inflation method and insulation-test documentation if those are decisive. Compare a different pad when proven standardized warmth data, lower weight, or a narrower sleeping footprint is the priority.
